So, I usually don't talk about private matters on DeviantArt, but this may be important enough to warrant a quick update of sorts. Starting second of May, I will be embarking on a number of projects as part of my graduation as a master student Biomedical Engineering. These projects are a HBO internship, my actual graduation project and an "external" internship. In total, these three projects will take the rest of this and the following year. And I have no idea what to do after that. And I do not yet know how the graduation project and external internships will look like. At this point, I can't even tell you how the HBO internship will end - this is something I will be discussing tomorrow with my mentors.

Based on previous experiences though, this means that I will be spending a lot of time in the laboratory, which means that I will be having less time to doodle and draw stuff. I should still have time do so in the weekend, but laboratory work might mean I'm too "drained" to do art or that I have to spend time on future laboratory work preparation. I don't quite know how big the workload is going to be and how I will have to schedule it. I may be making this out to be worse than it actually is, but I wanted to have an explanation ready for why I won't be as active artistically in the future.

The gist of it is, my skill as an artist may atrophy a bit and larger projects (such as the ClubTeenTitansOC Round Robin page), may take a little while longer to complete. I'm still around and I definitely won't give up drawing, but I need to find time to do so which may be in short supply and the quality will probably suffer. Then again I was never that good to begin with so you might not notice the latter bit. :I
